when a negative review that contains accusations of racism on something you're interested in, so you check out the reviewer further... to find that said reviewer is mad about "anti-white racism" & spews absolutely disgusting filth towards POC. riiiiiight. ok.
At the minimum, mask up if you:
live with kids
go to a grade school
go to a healthcare facility
go to a correctional facility
take public transport or fly
You have a high likelihood of interacting with people that don't have sufficient agency or ability to protect themselves.
Taylor Lorenz goes full Bari Weiss on a disabled Palestinian.
Accusing Maysoon Zayid of being a “pro Israel agent” while she visits the West Bank…. Taylor Lorenz is knowingly putting a target on the back of a disabled Palestinian.
Boomer is upset she moved to be closer to her children/grandchildren who are in the middle of living their lives raising children. Doesn't offer to help with any of the day to day, ie become integrated and part of their lives, and is dissatisfied when they're busy and don't have time to entertain her lol
sometimes someone who is obviously also still taking precautions because we're still in the pandemic pops up & I'm like "oh why don't I follow you", and then when T.L. inevitably does her signature moves again, I see these same folks defending her. riiiight. that's why. 👋🏻
Taylor once blew up a group chat I was in by accusing people of being “eugenicists” (at 2 am, no less) for leaving their house.
I left and blocked her. Days later, she—an “investigative reporter”—messaged my husband to ask how to get in contact with me. My email is public.
my personal experience with TL in February- she blocked me for calling out her gen-AI use as what it is & sharing information on why not to use it, while saying I blocked her.

They kept a dead woman’s body functioning against her family’s wishes for over 3 months, and Georgia’s own AG later said the law never required it. The baby was born at 1lb 13oz, lungs underdeveloped, still in the NICU months later.

argued with me for then blocked me (while saying I blocked her) over whether she was using/being recommended gen-AI tools, now just fully blatantly using gen-AI. there are other people to follow for "journalism".
T.L. has a pattern of blocking folks that she's arguing with (usually Black & brown MaGes) & saying they've blocked her. she makes money from engagement and she farms that engagement by targeting smaller accounts and marginalized people in the name of "journalism".
the thing about taylor is that she’s racist and has been displaying that, over and over, for years.
so much of her behavior online is racially motivated, specifically against women and femmes of color. she picks a target and she goes. that’s all she does!
there's a pattern of "post inflammatory question or statement with replies mostly off, post gets quoted with mild correction by MUCH smaller accounts, double down with incorrect/goalpost-moving bs as long as ppl keep interacting". then she blocks & looks for the next thing.
my dad died fairly recently (within the last 6 years) and I agree. whoever is checking out my purchases doesn't (generally) know me or my life. feeling weird about hearing about an (international! widely spoken about & celebrated!) holiday in public is my own thing to deal with.
I understand losing a parent and/or having parental trauma but I also think an email, or a barista saying “happy Mother’s Day/happy Father’s Day” without malice shouldn’t send people into a tailspin.
he's back with yet another whole new account again.
remember - he's a white Australian guy who lives in South America. he says weird, weird things about women generally & talks down/over to Indigenous & Black women because "he knows more than they do". ignore him.
It is important to resist the commodification of basic human needs. Food, water and healthcare cannot be subordinated to market considerations or geopolitical interests. Access to adequate food is a fundamental human right grounded in the dignity of every person. Meeting this need not only alleviates suffering but also addresses underlying causes of geopolitical instability. Indeed, food security is an essential component of global and integral security. https://t.co/DgkM9RegJ7
