On September 15, 2001, Balbir Singh Sodhi was planting flowers outside his Arizona gas station when Frank Roque pulled up and fatally shot him. Roque wanted revenge for 9/11 and mistook Sodhi, a Sikh man, for a Muslim because of his turban.
Sodhi became the first person killed in a post-9/11 retaliatory hate crime, marking the beginning of a devastating wave of violence against Muslims, Sikhs, Arabs, South Asians, and other brown Americans.
THAILAND is not your promised land.
PHILIPPINES is not your promised land.
PALESTINE is not your promised land.
You're creating your own promised land by force, terrorism, and genocide.

sa harap ng tahasang pagkamkam sa lupang ninuno, muling pinatutunayan ng estado kung sino ang tunay nitong pinaglilingkuran. lupa sa magsasaka, hindi sa imperyalista!
RIP to the 2,976 people that lost their lives on 9/11
And RIP to the 3.7 million people in Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine,Syria, Yemen, and Pakistan who paid the ultimate price for a crime they did not commit
You need to watch this incredible video to understand just how tired China's neighbors are of its aggressive coercion.
In the middle of a talk at the Seoul Defense Dialogue, China drops a note scolding and attempting to intimidate the Filipino National Defense Secretary over the South China Sea issue.
Instead of acquiescing like Beijing wanted, the secretary read the note out loud, ridiculing and debunking it as he went before saying, "perhaps, basic decency and behavior is what China needs to do."
My summary doesn't do the clip justice — it's an absolute evisceration.
wtf is rotational brownout???? wtf is water shortage???? wtf is transportation crisis???? wtf is constant flooding???? WTF IS BEING RESILIENT??? sobrang lubog na ng pilipinas sa lahat ng aspeto, please let us demand accountability!!
The Philippines has only two seasons: dry and wet.
Dry season drains your wallet (high electricity bills)
Wet season drowns your home (high floodwaters)
We’re paying for both.
CORRUPTION is the bill we never stop paying.
