Last year Godzilla Minus One proved it could boast special effects that stood toe-to-toe with Hollywood blockbusters on a comparatively small budget.

This year an indie horror movie proved you could top the box office with an even smaller budget and just great word of mouth.

I could totally see #Terrifier’s #SiennaShaw- played by the excellent #LaurenLaVera- mercilessly brutalising copycat Miles County Clowns on the hunt for the true #ArttheClown in the next film! It’s no longer about a killer and a final girl; it’s all out war between good & evil!

@BDisgusting First screening had only a few people but they giggled along to the carnage save for one girl who annoyingly would stare down into her bright phone screen during every intense scene…

My second screen was super full. A couple of quick walkouts early on. No fuss. More phones.
