NEW: The Trump administration announced in federal court today that it was reversing its action to terminate the legal status of thousands of international students, often on minor, or even dismissed, legal infractions. DHS is working on a new policy for student visas.

Last week, nine senior staff and directors from American Councils for International Education joined over 160 international exchange professionals on Capitol Hill for #2025AdvocacyDay, organized by @AllianceExchnge.

We met with 27 offices of U.S. Senators and Representatives to highlight how international exchange programs directly advance America’s security, global competitiveness, and economic growth.
