Each student had a spot in front of the white board and the other students wrote their fav trait/memory about them.
Sweetest compliment one wrote about the other?
“I hope one day my own kids are just like you.”
These are 7th graders.
Be still my teacher heart.

We couldn’t agree more.

Dear @WhiteHouse, my name is Rodney Smith Jr., founder of Raising Men & Women Lawn Care Service in Huntsville, Alabama. Through our 50 Yard Challenge, over 6,000 kids across the country have signed up to mow free lawns for the elderly, disabled, veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and single parents. With America celebrating its 250th birthday this year and me also being born on July 4th, I wanted to humbly ask if a few kids from our program and myself could travel to Washington, D.C. to help mow the White House lawn for this historic celebration.
More than anything, I want these kids to see how a simple act of service something as ordinary as mowing a lawn for someone in need can lead to extraordinary places. What better lesson in community service than showing them that helping others can take them all the way to our nation’s capital? I’d also love to bring my American flag-themed mower in hopes that the President might sign it, so I can later auction it off and donate 100% of the proceeds to a nonprofit supporting veterans. It would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to highlight the importance of service, patriotism, and the impact young people can have when they choose to make a difference. 🇺🇸
My friends, I need your help today for Emvuyane Village: https://t.co/WhSMqGuChZ
We are 40% funded on the cost of a fresh water well for Emvuyane Village. Just $3,275 away from bringing clean water to 700+ people for 75+ years!
Chivinya and Chizani Villages now have clean water. The wells were built with the help of kind donors and families are drinking safe water for the first time in generations. Over 1,100 people freed from contaminated water. Praise God for your generous hearts!
But Emvuyane Village desperately needs our help. Over 700 people in this village, families I know by name, children I've baptized, walk kilometers daily for water from hand-dug holes shared with livestock. The contamination is severe. Cholera is a constant threat.I see elderly women making long journeys for muddy water on a daily basis. I see children tired and sick. I see families suffering from waterborne diseases that could be prevented. Together, we can bring the mercy of clean water to those who need it most. Please be the answer to our prayers.
@EricLDaugh They can’t handle an authentic, smart, athletic, successful, classy, beautiful, blonde, mother that speaks to millions on a platform built on merely living her best life all while being in love and happy. She’s the American Dream and it drives. them. BONKERS. @Riley_Gaines_
@CatholicCharm My grandparents passed away (within months of each other); we stopped at their house one last time as it was on the market. I grew up spending an infinite amount of time with my Grammy in her backyard garden. He knelt on his knee to ask as I was showing him my favorite bridge.💖
@SydneyLWatson Glad you asked! I’ve thought this through many time prior— seasons take place in quarters of the year:
Winter: Dec., Jan., Feb.
Spring: March, April, May
Summer: June, July, August
Fall: September, October, November
