Hospital services providing perioperative care are stretched. GP/Social Care, more so. In 12yrs proportion of GPs has fallen by 10%, the population grown by 10% (>60yo by 25%) & in 2020 39% of Consultant Anaesthetists were >50yo. 25% of Anaes workforce plan to leave inside 5yr
