Everyone’s posting their spotify wrapped 2019 and I’m just like, I can’t be the only one who still uses pandora and youtube for my music, right? *silence* Got it. ✌🏼 #latetotheparty#spotifywrapped#music

I tried to break into someone else’s vehicle today.
While distracted by my groceries, I unlocked my trunk **and heard it unlock** but I still couldn’t get in. That’s when I slowly turned my face and realized my car was the twin next to it. #theyparkednexttome
God had access to every ingredient & He chose to make His favorite creation, mankind, from dust. From the dust came new life. And the same is true for our circumstances as well.
Dust doesn’t signify the end, sweet friend. It’s often what must be present for the new to begin.
Forgiveness doesn’t justify, rectify, or reconcile all the hard stuff. But it sure does make the load we carry a lot lighter, our outlook a lot clearer, and our hearts a lot more pure.
Sometimes the things we think we want most aren’t always what we really need — and how the seasons we’d like to fast forward through are the very ones we so desperately need.
What if we viewed disappointment in light of the fact that God isn’t trying to break our hearts but rather make us ready for what He sees just ahead?
We might not understand why He does or doesn’t allow some things to happen. But, oh, sweet friend, may we choose to trust Him.
