@united Just landed in Aspen, checked in to hotel, unpacked to find wet & DIRTY (muddy) clothes in our checked suitcase. Sent items to be cleaned & called UA customer service immediately. Was told we have to go back to airport to “show them the damages.” Terrible!

@united @united Reporting damage in person under these circumstances is completely unreasonable. Damage was not discovered until we unpacked our clothes at our hotel. I would expect #UnitedAirlines to MAKE THIS RIGHT & CORRECT YOUR ERROR. Please advise where to send our dry cleaning bill

@united How are we supposed to report damage in person when we sent off our dirty clothes to be cleaned? If we didn’t do so immediately, my husband’s cashmere sweaters would have been irreparably damaged.
