Last week my phone died and while I waited for a new one, five or six days passed... then I had 111 polos! I NEVER would have watched them without 2x speed. In large groups, 2x speed is CORE to what makes the app usable.

But they said something about the plus/premium version will help provide the free version “for people who can’t afford” the newer version. And I’m under no delusion that the switch back is only temporary until they make it permanent.
@vladab It’s NOT UPGRADING when you DOWNgraded the features everyone was accustomed to! I would have rather watched an ad every so often than for you to have taken away 2x speed, live reactions, & emojis. I highly doubt I will be upgrading & wish you had chosen another monetizing option.
@vladab @MarcoPoloApp Makes sense that you have to make money, but taking away basic features and charging for them without letting users know beforehand is a 💩 experience.
With a family group we have with 14 people would now cost $840/year to get everyone the same features we had before. 😟
