AN OPEN LETTER TO THE GLOBAL PUBG ESPORTS COMMUNITY: UNFAIR TREATMENT, RETROACTIVE RULE CHANGES & TARGETED BIAS AGAINST VIETNAMESE PLAYERS

The recent incidents at the PUBG Asia Stars event have exposed a deeply flawed and biased operational system by the publisher. Instead of addressing their own poor rulebook and lack of technical standards in a casual showmatch, they chose to scapegoat and ruthlessly target Vietnam's representatives—TanVuu and Himass.

Here is the undeniable truth about how the publisher manipulated the situation:

1️⃣ The Flawed Initial Rulebook (Sept 14): The official rulebook published on September 14 contained no clear regulations prohibiting the alleged actions during this casual showmatch format.

2️⃣ Retroactive Rule Tampering (Sept 19): Realizing their initial rules left no grounds for punishment, organizers secretly and retroactively modified the rulebook, re-issuing it on September 19 just to fabricate a legal basis to penalize the Vietnamese players. This is a blatant, dishonest attempt to legalize an unjust witch hunt.

3️⃣ One-Sided Investigation & Zero Transparency: While aggressively digging to corner TanVuu and Himass, organizers completely turned a blind eye and refused to transparently investigate other regions—especially the home region, South Korea—where similar or worse situational behaviors likely occurred. Double standards at its finest.

🛑 To be crystal clear: We are not asking for any special favors or preferential treatment for our players. What we demand is absolute transparency, genuine fairness, and a consistent, uniform enforcement of rules for every single case, without double standards.

⚠️ A WARNING TO ALL GLOBAL REGIONS:
If a publisher can rewrite rules behind closed doors on Sept 19 to punish players for something not banned on Sept 14, they can do it to ANY team, ANY region, tomorrow. Today it’s Vietnam; tomorrow it could be yours.

We call upon the global community, partner teams, and major organizations to open your eyes:

Do not let double standards dictate who gets treated fairly.

Demand accountability, transparency, and clear rulebooks from Krafton and event organizers.

Question whether a game lacking a fair and transparent competitive ecosystem still deserves a spot on global stages like the Esports World Cup (@EWC_EN @EWC_AR).

Stop the corruption. Stand for true fairness and protect the players before your favorite region becomes their next victim.

The incident happened before stream sniping was explicitly banned.

Vì sao một giải for fun kết nối cộng đồng Pubg lại mang lại một hệ quả cực kỳ xấu và đáng trách như vậy
1. Có 2 file luật được NPH gửi đến các thành viên các nước trong giải gồm ngày 14/9/2026 và bản sửa đổi ngày 19/4 sau khi ngày 1 được diễn ra ( cũng như là ngày mà xảy ra vụ việc ).
2. Bản ngày 14/9/2026 mục 3.7 quy định rất rõ khuyến nghị tất cả người chơi livestream nên đặt độ trễ hợp lý để tránh lộ thông tin ( không bắt buộc ), tiếp đến là người chơi tự chịu trách nhiệm hoàn toàn đối với bất kỳ rủi ro nào bấy lợi xuất phát từ livestream. Vậy xin hỏi luật có cấm không hả mọi người, và đội tuyển Việt Nam cũng đã từng hỏi kĩ lại trọng tài trước khi làm, hơn nữa cũng công khai không giấu diếm nhằm mục đích vui vẻ như mọi năm.
3. Sau sự việc xảy ra ngày 17/9 thì đến ngày 19/9 luật mới ra rồi áp dụng cho ngày 17/9, xứ lý hai tuyển thủ chuyên nghiệp Việt Nam. Tôi xin hỏi nếu luật được ra sau sự việc thì xin hỏi có ai nghe được không ạ?
4. Trong luật có ghi rõ ràng tất cả các người chơi phải bật cam trong quá trình tham gia giải, vậy tại sao Hàn Quốc vẫn có người không bật cam ( Why? )
5. Người đứng ra tố cáo khẳng định cô ấy chỉ có một màn hình ( Xin thưa có streamer nào dùng 1 máy tính không ạ, trong khi có nhiều hình ảnh phân tích cô ấy )
6. Vấn đề xử lý vô cùng yếu kém, khi chưa có kết luận đã đè đầu 2 tuyển thủ ra nào là tước partner, loại khỏi giải..., trong khi đó có nhiều ý kiến kiểm tra tất cả tuyển thủ các nước mà chỉ kiểm tra mỗi hai người.
