It's crazy that pregnant women who go to or become pregnant in prison, who are often impoverished, receive no federal aid for prenatal care or abortions. This should really be addressed because prenatal care is vital for baby and mother health #wmst1006 #wmstcr1

Sort of a side note but I read auto-bibliography about prostitution which was brought up in Sudbury's article as a reason some women are in jail. Prostitution should not be punished as a crime since many victims of it are coerced and abused #wmst1006 #wmstcr1
