My wife has a phd and is qualified to teach anatomy at med schools. So four years ago when she taught me the word ‘fupa’ I thought it was an actual anatomical term. Two years ago I learned it was an acronym. The flashbacks from me using it around others still haunt me.
One lesson: ...current & future PCEPs should acknowledge that the main issue is global consumerism & not the livelihoods of the humans who have lived near primate habitats for generations...many primatologists can focus on education in our own communities and make a bigger impact
Congratulations to Dr. McNamara @allison_mcnama who defended her dissertation to a zoom and an in-person audience today! Wooohooooooooo. So proud to be a colleague all of these years!

@MiguelYaLater it just isn't angsty enough for me - not sure what that says about me as a person or about how early 2000s pop was peak angst and can never be out-angsted
