I don’t know who needs to hear this, but DO NOT “save” those gift cards if you are in any of the 36 states that allow various fees to deplete the value. Even @Visa @Mastercard branded ones! @FDICgov insures the institutions while allowing them to slowly siphon funds. 💸💸😡

Today I learned @Delta refuses admission into the @AmericanExpress lounge if flying on an employee pass. Amex allows this discretion despite the fact that I sure as shit pay to remain a Platinum card holder.

(Yes, this is petty, first world complaining. Just wanted coffee.)
