Ten months ago Dave and I became engaged on the beach at the Isle of Palms in South Carolina and now we’ll be married exactly one month from today! This afternoon we went to the office of the register of deeds in Harnett County to get our marriage license. #aislegowithprice

Today is the anniversary of our first date, and we applied for our marriage license before going back to the same park for a picnic lunch and hike on the greenway! Thank you for a beautiful year; here’s to many more special memories with you.

We are ringing in the new year with happiness and anticipation of what’s to come in 2025! I’m thankful that this holiday season Dave and I were able to attend the Christmas service at church, see the decor at the Hotel Roanoke, spend time with family, and hike at Natural Bridge.

In honor of it being four weeks since Dave and I became engaged, these are some photographs from our recent visit to Grandfather Mountain and the mile high swinging bridge. Even with a short rainstorm, it was beautiful and we heard a great nature talk. We love the mountains!

It’s been three weeks since Dave and I happily became engaged at the Isle of Palms in South Carolina! I think this is the last batch of our engagement photos by the shore that we wanted to share publicly.

It’s been two weeks since David Price and I became engaged in SC! We appreciate the kind words and well wishes about our engagement. Today he met some of my extended maternal family in Tennessee - including my great aunt who is 103!

@LitDanaK I used some of the books in the Magic Tree House series for read aloud when I taught second grade! Their “Classroom Adventures Program” provides “fact trackers” with lesson plans and lets Title I teachers apply for the chance to win free books if your proposal is accepted.

Riya’s #incREDible year as an @NCFCCLA state officer coming to an end was bittersweet; I was glad to send her off to high school with a last day gift - she will be missed! Today we’re a week away from the national #FCCLA conference, and I was delighted to work with this new SEC!
