@mom_of_littles@Cratscadle Was going to say I had nice ones from Gap and Old Navy. Pro tip though, you will be tempted to use the panel to pull them up. Don’t; it will start to rip. Pull from the denim waistband.
@BRB_Dyying_ it’s an opportunity for Ted to deliver a heartfelt speech to Henry about how these are professionals and this is his vocation and etc etc and we’ll see everybody next season (of football, but also the show) 2/2
@BRB_Dyying_ I’m having these unformed thoughts about Ted flipping the “there’s no crying in [sports]ball” while also being excited to coach women, and Henry sounds like how Jimmy sounds in the beginning of ALOTO when he’s talking about coaching girls . . . so maybe 1/2
@Lady_FanAccount This song makes me miss the days when you couldn’t look up song lyrics. I spent decades thinking he was saying “as long as anyone would hop the can”. I assumed it was an expression I was unfamiliar with.
@VeeOhMonteiro@SketchesbyBoze Yeah I feel like it’s awkward phrasing and “not developmentally appropriate” is being read as meaning they *shouldn’t* be able to do this, when she might have meant “it’s developmentally appropriate (ie, not a problem) if they can’t do this yet”.
@BearandRoo2@HansFiene There’s a Gilmore Girls where Lorelai and Luke are having a movie night and she says “we’re seeing Casablanca” and it drives me crazy because no one uses “see” when they’re talking about watching a movie at home.
If you’re going to do a cutesy thing to elongate a word, you have to elongate the actual part you say. “HATEEEEEE” is “hatey”. You’re looking for “HAAAAAATE.”
