JUST IN: Signature verification foils attempted voter fraud in Mesa Co. 12 voters had their ballots intercepted. Someone (or perhaps several people) filled them out and returned them. Case referred to DA. Sec't of State and chief of clerks say this demonstrates system works.

10 years ago today, I was working a weekend shift @seattletimes when word came in of a landslide near a small town named Oso.
It turned out to be the deadliest landslide in U.S. history.
