Not wild at all. Everyone raises AOV because they can't raise frequency. Meesho spent years killing cost per shipment so a ₹200 order actually makes money. Once that's true you stop needing big baskets. He's not sharing a metric, he's telling you about a moat.

Platform 1 is just whichever one sits closest to the original station building and the station master's office. Numbering runs outward from there.

In Mumbai that building went west because in the 1860s, when the line was laid, west was the only side worth serving. Bandra, Santacruz, Parle, Andheri, Borivali all had their old villages on the sea side. East was salt pans and marsh.

The east entrances came decades later, after the highway and MIDC. By then the platforms were already numbered.

Holds best on the Western line. Gets shaky at Dadar, Andheri, Borivali where platforms kept getting added.
