Michael Israel was a native Californian from Sacramento, an active member of local DSA and IWW chapters. His desire to fight for a better world took him to Rojava, where he laid down his life in defense of the revolution there, an example of lived convictions and profound bravery
On our way to PG&E and the US Federal Building to hear speeches connecting the ecological revolution in Rojava to California's climate catastrophe and conclude with a Kurdish dance and moment of silence for fallen YPG & YPJ fighters:
"Long live YPG / Fuck PG&E"
