Wishing you all a Happy Father’s Day,

It’s been 6 months since my father passed. I miss him everyday. I miss his smile, his hugs, his phone calls, his time.

The greatest gift we have is time and love. Time with those we love.

My father left me with so much love to pour into this world. I wonder everyday if my happiest moments will be at 5 years old playing catch with the football in the backyard with my dad.

Those are moments that mold us into who we are. Experiences of pure love and happiness that become the heart of us, and the compass for what we do.

It’s impossible to feel a lifetime of memories and experiences full of love, happiness, and security and not want that for others.

I’ve been blessed to meet so many people here and in my community over the years, and past 6 months especially.

It’s a reminder that we come from so many different places, backgrounds, dreams, goals, ambitions, yet we share so much in common at the core of who we are.

The time and love we get to share with the people we care so deeply about. Whether it’s laughter over the dinner table with your family and friends, or the conversation at the doorstep of your first love’s house, or catching fireflies with your siblings at your grandma’s house.

It’s all so simple, really. What really drives us, what really makes us who we are, the memories and imprint in this universe we carry with our souls forever, forever a part of us and this world.

Sending my blessings to all the fathers out there. May God bless you and your families ❤️
