@globeandmail@marcusbgee "...small, practical victories." 2 wks after my 1st deputation on #TorontoFire, Deputy Chief announced retirement. 1 wk later Chief did too.
Fact: Canada has a brave and professional military. It has deployed into combat with us many times, including D-Day. Canadian troops, under my NATO command, faced intense fire in Afghanistan where many were killed in action. I honor their memory and salute them. 🇨🇦 https://t.co/9kkvWXHTub
@t_kocur@WaterfrontBIA Harbourfront just spent a bunch of money repaving the entire lot and it’s a huge source of revenue for them. I suppose the budget includes replacement funding for #Harbourfront in perpetuity.

@Waterfront4All@markevans You don’t seem to understand that all of your objections are issues that can be accomodated with compromises. Your problem is you believe the situation is binary. You’re welcome to maintain that POV. David Eby thought a new pipeline was impossible too.
@Waterfront4All@markevans The Island Community will never allow any transportation arrangement that brings 20M/yr visitors to the Island, so the comparison is moot.
@cselley Taken probably 40 round trips from the early 90's up to last year. Never remember it taking less than 5hrs. Usually more like 6. Last year the stretch between Brockville & Cornwall was like moderate turbulance in a plane - except side-to-side. Porter or driving for me
