Mini milestone today dropping off our first batch of 26 @ZanzRedColobus faecal samples for parasitological analysis with Othman Senior @Othmoney11 and his lab team at the Dept of Livestock Development. All the work of @AllsopPatrick collecting poop paying off! #newcollaboration

Delighted to welcome Abdul Ali today joining the @ZanzRedColobus team for a 2-week training placement. Abdul is a MSc student from @StateSuza planning his thesis research with us on colobus! @AllsopPatrick is already showing Abdul how we enter and manage colobus ranging data!

Collecting a fresh faecal sample from a colobus: @AllsopPatrick’s PhD project will examine the dispersal patterns of the colobus in and around forests. DNA from the faeces will help get at that question.
