vocation is a call, and requires a give of self in very deep way, traditionally either the natural call of marriage or traditional call of a convent
by practicing the virtues as best you can in your singleness; fighting against that self centered lifestyle; finding ways to give back; being open to hearing God’s call
I don’t feel called to “singleness” but my cross might be to remain single. I don’t know. BUT
