@manu_oliveira I read "Gravity's Rainbow" in college, and it took an entire semester.

I highly recommend Steven Weisenburger's "Companion" book, which walks you through Pynchon's many obscure references. I wouldn't have gotten through "Gravity's Rainbow" without it.
