I'm terribly sorry for your experience. I had a similar experience with my father in law. They would not even accept him into hospice without him signing a DNR. But to me, keeping him comfortable also means giving the necessary treatments to do just that. Did your prayers work? Is your mother still with us? I will join you in prayer. Our God is able to do immeasurably more. ❤️

With all due respect, my brother was an organ donor. He had a massive stroke and was given a 5% chance of making it 3 days. The doctors convinced the family that even if he made it, he would be brain dead and never recover to live a regular life. They made arrangements for organ donation. When I asked the doctors, "At what point is he declared dead?" I was told "when we remove his heart." I didn't like that answer, and I prayed and prayed over him. 30 minutes before he was to be taken to surgery, his wife went to kiss him goodbye, and he opened his eyes! He went on to recover magnificently, and the next year, he was actually able to WALK his daughter down the aisle at her wedding. I get that people needed/wanted his organs, but I'm sorry.... he was still using them.

@Simple_Disciple @maringram96 Can you share chapter and verse on this? I pray this is true, but the very first thing Jesus said when he was asked about the end days was - Do Not be Deceived - which has led me to believe that we can be. I'd love to explore what you are saying more. ❤️🙏
