Multiple Americans are saying that someone has gained access to their iPhones
While in the YouTube app, she suddenly hears on her phone typing, breathing, her ‘camera on’ indicator is lit up, she says the man was a foreign man speaking and typing
Multiple other people have said recently similar things have happened while in YouTube
I’ve looked into this and from what I can find it’s extremely rare, especially for the level of security Apple has
For this to work for a hacker to take control of your phone or app
- You would have had to have installed a malicious app or clicked a phishing link earlier. Something like a fake “YouTube update” or adult site redirect
- Or physical access to your phone at some point to install spyware
- Spyware or Remote Access Tool
Once inside, the malware could request or silently use your camera and mic permission
- It could run in the background and disguising itself as a legitimate process in your phone
The “typing, clicking, breathing, man’s voice” she described could be the attacker live-monitoring or testing controls
Even if you accidentally got this on your phone, the hacker would still likely be limited
Likely saying in YouTube with background access only to your camera and mic while YouTube plays normally
Even still, this is extremely creepy and not something you want to happen. This is exactly the type of thing you’d expect from an Indian scammer or something
Down click bad links or ever grant permissions to things not trustworthy
Luckily likelihood is very low on Apple iPhones with their security and sandboxing
@wendelltalks It all starts with God. “In the beginning, GOD”
Nothing created precedes the eternal existence of Almighty God.
He even created time and space, the measurement and substance of most things contained, in our human understanding.
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
That is how the Bible opens. It has always struck me as one of the most powerful claims in all of Scripture.
The universe had a beginning, and God is the one who brought it into existence.
Here is the thing. Modern science has caught up with what the Bible said all along.
The evidence is overwhelming that our universe had a starting point. It is not eternal.
It did not always exist. According to the modern scientific model everything, space, time, matter, and energy, came into being from a hot, dense state and has been expanding ever since.
You can see it in the way galaxies are moving apart, in the background radiation still filling the universe, and in the way the lightest elements show up in exactly the amounts you would expect if it all started that way.
Now think about this logically with me. Nothing comes from nothing.
Things do not just pop into existence on their own with no cause. I have never seen that happen in real life.
If something begins, something had to cause it. You cannot have an endless chain of before that going back forever, because you would never actually get to today.
So the universe had a beginning. Therefore it had a cause.
And here is where it gets powerful. That cause cannot be part of the universe itself. It cannot be made of matter or energy or stuck inside time and space.
Because all of that came into existence at the beginning. So whatever caused it has to be outside of all that. Which means timeless, spaceless and not physical. A truly immensely powerful being.
And it has to be personal. Not some blind force or set of conditions that just spits things out automatically.
Because if it was just an impersonal cause, the universe would have always existed or never existed.
But it had a beginning. That means the cause made a choice. It acted with purpose and will.
That is exactly what the Bible has been saying from the first verse. God, eternal, personal, all powerful, spoke, and it all came into being.
Atheism has no real answer here. It cannot explain why there is something instead of nothing, or why the universe had a start instead of going on forever.
You either end up saying the universe created itself, which makes no sense, or it came from nothing, which also makes no sense. Both options are dead ends.
This is not about forcing God into a gap. It is about following the evidence where it leads.
The universe had a beginning. That beginning had a cause. And the best explanation for that cause is the God the Bible describes.
