@DamianFaltz “That’s... pretty visionary.”
Kim laughed slightly, giving another sip. It was a fun moment with the man, a fun night overall, she was enjoying his company.
“It just... didn’t work anymore the first time, and then I wasn’t interested in a new relationship again. That’s it...”
Today is Kim’s birthday and she kinda misses her ex-husband. At least he cheered up her mood pretty well.
Anyway... She will just cheer herself up by getting drunk and using some of her toys.
@DamianFaltz “If you say so... I’m just trying to adapt to your current vision.”
Kim smirked in amusement, since Damian surely had this cheerful, self-confidance that caused her some tenderness.
Anyway, she just shrugged slightly and drank a bit more.
@DamianFaltz “If you say so... quite a visionary, huh?”
Once the blonde had taken her last sip from the glass, she asked for more. After all, it was her day off.
@DamianFaltz “Before you? Just one. My ex-husband. Why?”
Playful smirk, giving another sip. Kim got this round, she always played clear cards.
“Oh, so you’re really are quite THE man. Cheers on that.”
The blonde lifted her glass as a toast.
@DamianFaltz “Really? I wonder how many gals were told that before.”
Kim teased with a small laugh, taking a sip. Of course she knew his intention, and it was cute somehow... but basic compliments didn’t move her that much.
Either way, she kept the good vibe.
“And you’re quite the man...”
@DamianFaltz “Heh, I try my best.”
Kim was passionate about her work. But this meeting wasn’t about it, so she chose to change the subject.
“Though think I’m not the only one. Just look at you. As elegant as charming. Surely you have lots of ladies chasing you.”
She said with a giggle.
@DamianFaltz “Yeah. It’s not like in TV series or films.”
She said with a convincing tone of voice, since being a lawyer was her life. Kim thanked the bartender as she received her glass, giving the first sip.
“But it’s good anyway. Struggles and loses help me to improve.”
@DamianFaltz “I really appreciate it, seriously.”
Kim said smiling, receiving the gift from Damian and putting it inside her bag. She’d have time to open it and use it later, now she’d choose a Bourbon to start.
“With some ups and downs, but I can’t complain. It’s part of the work.”
@DamianFaltz “Please, it wasn’t necessary at all! I--”
Kim had no words. She didn’t care about gifts, but rather she enjoyed more spending a good time in company. She valued more people than material stuff.
“Okay. Guess I could make an exception.”
She said with a small giggle.
@DamianFaltz “Well, that... makes sense.”
Kim said with a small giggle, noticing the man giving her a small box and getting surprised.
“Wait, wha--? Is that for me? Please, you should’ve not bothered!”
She prefered to avoid Damian’s embarrasament, so reacting on the gift was perfect.
@DamianFaltz “Pleasure is all mine, Damian.”
The lawyer said as she decided to greet her with a friendly kiss on both of his cheeks, before taking the offered seat.
“W-wha--? How did you know?”
Kim was kinda shocked, since she didn’t remember to say anything about her birthday before.
@DamianFaltz As entered, the blonde spotted the man waving her over, recognizing him immediately: a prominent Boston detective.
Kim smiled widely and raised her hand to greet him, walking over to his table.
“Hey, Damian!”
Of course she’d call him by his name, due being off of work by now.
@DamianFaltz And so she did, the blonde felt good that night and decided to get well dressed and walk to certain nice bar.
She entered the place, holding her bag as she looked for a spot to catch her attention. Or someone, maybe.
@DamianFaltz Well, that indeed sounds lovely. She’d enjoy so much someone to drink with.
Where they’ll meet? Some bar, maybe? It’s been a time since she doesn’t go to any.
