Got to love being back in the central belt. I’m sat in the barbers, woman walks in with her bf and sits down next to me. Slaps me on the leg and shouts “ARE YOU WAITING TO GET YOUR HAIRCUT?” Nah mate I just love the sound of clippers.
Calcutta Cup, 2019. The famous Scotland comeback game. Darcy Graham’s day ends after this incident with Owen Farrell. No card issued, just a penalty. Still happening four years later.
@sgingerthoughts @MrAshCunningham@TedTurnau @CalebWoodbridge Yeah they don’t explain it brilliantly

The number of people at uni I met from the central belt/internationals who would’ve believed this when I told them I was from the Western Isles is worrying lol
Watching the emergency services drive past in Stornoway, each with their own Santas driving. Now wondering how parents are going to explain how he was in 4 different vehicles at once
‘All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field;
the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord endures for ever.’ ”
We’ve sadly seen half of that promise come true today, but she’s now living the other half’s fulfilment
Seeing the tribalism on this site, even in the face of what’s happened today, really leaves me sad and confused.
I love football, but I really can’t (and never have been able to) understand why supporting a football team can be the decider on all else in your life. 🧵
That’s the steadfast hope the gospel brought her, and brings us in times like this:
“For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. For,
