@QueerDeaf Totally agree. Anyone not wanting to identify as hearing despite being able to hear is disregarding the privilege we have, was just trying to share why people may not want to identify as hearing, but agree with your point 100%. Sorry if I sounded a bit naive.

@QueerDeaf I think it’s moreso they don’t want to identify in the hearing group because I’ve seen a few deaf people scrutinise the entire hearing “””community”””like “ugh, hearing people” just because many hearing people do not accommodate for dead people, and so it looks like they view 1/2
