Well, there goes one of Twitter’s favourite memes — that uniquely among major economies of the G7 the UK was the only economy not to have returned to its pre-pandemic size. How often have you seen that point made, often gleefully.
The Office for National Statistics (ONS) says the data on which it was based was inaccurate and has now been revised. The UK economy shrank less than thought during the pandemic, and returned to pre-Covid levels almost two years ago: GDP was 0.6% higher than before Covid in the last quarter of 2021, not 1.2% smaller. Oh dear.
I’m sure that will shortly be leading the FT and the BBC.
As the final Brexit betrayal of Northern Ireland looms, remember: the EU never cared about Ireland. They used it as a pawn in their power game. Don't take it from me. Here's Michel Barnier caught on camera:
"We are using Ireland for future negotiations... isolating Ireland"
Due to staff shortages, Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport has extended passenger caps until May.
Labour market issues are affecting countries around the world.
They are not the uniquely British problem Remainers would have you believe.

Questions over why Nicola Sturgeon's husband and SNP chief exec Peter Murrell loaned party £108,000 in a year it raked in millions. Party HQ saying it was to help "cashflow" but no further detail https://t.co/GitzG9jTX6
Absolutely unbelievable! @Keir_Starmer has repeated the story known to be false, told by the young woman about her 10% mortgage on BBC’s Question Time in an article in the Sunday Telegraph today. The Mortgage Company have said they have never offered such a mortgage. #LabourLies
@thecoastguy Remainders in London believe everyone voted for brexit are thick and uneducated and they know best , voters will remember Mrs May and Mr Hunt
@michaelgove @Unchain_Britain Voted for Boris not Conservative party , voted for brexit and we are not stupid as the London conservatives believe , the party will not get into power by showing their voters their choices mean nothing
