Labs are slow to produce research. Studios sound like a fair alternative, benefitting career prospects.
But. Grants are competitive, under-funded and slow. And the university umbrella can limit raising outside investment.
Maybe crowdfund?
So often, women feel ignored and undervalued, especially in the workplace.
So, I'm sharing a poem and a story to build the confidence of women in our work culture.

Being a woman isn't a sentence to be served. It isn't obedience, sweetness, passivity, or waiting your turn.
To me, โwomanโ means beauty, confidence, empathy, power and agency. Being a woman means having the capacity to achieve greatness, love deeply, and create immeasurably.
