North St. Paul graduate Don Arlich made his major league debut with the Astros against the Cardinals on this date in 1965. The first batter he faced was former St. Cloud Rox star Lou Brock, who popped out to shortstop leading off a 1-2-3 first inning.

My college basketball experience did not go as expected…But it was excactly what I needed. I battled through so much adversity these last 4 years and I have grown so much from it. It has brought me closer to my family, friends and teammates. I am truly grateful to be a Bulldog🐶
We are 2 weeks out, today is the last day to sign up for camp, if you want a free t-shirt. Tell some teammates to sign up, it’s going to be a fun week in the gym!
This 10th grade team (which featured 3 ninth graders) was all about setting & achieving goals, developing skills & new friendships, while competing hard and having fun. Congratulations on a great season players, coaches & families!
It was one year ago today that Park lost a member of its family. Coach Matt Maher, I know you’re smiling as you watch from above at how hard the kids are working. We miss you, we love you, and the impact you had on this team, school, and community will live on forever! ❤️
It takes a lot of strength to know when to move on- I know big things are in store for @charliegorres22 and basketball has only helped shape the amazing young man he has become. Love you Char ❤
Reasons to hire an athlete:
•They are used to working under pressure
•They understand that doing work outside of working hours is where they’ll find their advantage
•They’ve endured success & defeat; they handle adversity
•They sacrifice personal accolades for team success
Hijab-wearing women and girls don’t need permission to exist.
Noor ran her personal best this season, only to be told it didn’t count because she made the choice to wear a hijab.
I’m standing with her. Every rule that is ignorant of religious freedom must be overturned.
