The Ländler dance in THE SOUND OF MUSIC (1965) is absolute perfection. The music, the choreography, the way the entire room disappears around Maria and the Captain. One of the most enchanting dance sequences ever put on film.
I wish for the #pokemon30thanniversary that @PokemonTCG would have focused on 5 to 8+ IR/SIR @Pokemon cards and let fans vote on the artwork for each. Whether the art was submitted by their own commissioned artists or from fans, it would have been such a great way to celebrate!
Right? Why give Leia to Organa—one of the most looked after & controversial senators to the empire? And Luke to Anakin’s step brother? Why not keep the kids together with Padmé’s family on Naboo? The safety & discretion of keeping them a secret wouldn’t be much different.
This is not talked about enough.
The fact that Kanan bested Maul even after being freshly blinded is insane!
Not to mention the line "You had your chance." Followed by stopping Maul's punch with his hand and throwing him off the ledge. Kanan was such a peak Jedi.
Ahsoka being able to block blasts from so many directions in just one small area really just goes to show how incredible of a teacher Anakin Skywalker really was.
She wouldn’t have nearly been as prepared for something like Order 66 without his chaotic training.
Antony Starr set the bar so absurdly high with Homelander in THE BOYS (2019–2026) that it’s hard to imagine anyone else in the role. A character that could have been a one-note Superman parody ended up becoming one of TV’s most unforgettable villains.
