I'm surprised Cathie Wood hasn't said more about Chainlink as an investment play.
Ark Invest's partner, 21Shares, uses Chainlink's Proof of Reserve (PoR) service for their ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF.
Perhaps you guys could meme it into existence?
@mmpadellan Maybe if you thought for two seconds it would make sense.
He's said it's a ponzi scheme because it promised more to baby boomers than millennials and younger generations can contribute bc they are a smaller population.
He's not the first to point out that obvious fact.
@encl4ve Well, if the he's paid per-job or salaried, then yeah it doesn't make sense. If billed hourly anyways then it sort of makes sense, because then you can just bill the extra hour.
Also there's the "fun factor" if you like doing that sort of thing yourself.
Personally, I would have waited until the dog took a solid bite out of my leg before I started shooting, but hey, not everyone's a dog lover. On the other hand, anyone who's been bitten by a dog knows they can do a surprising amount of damage in a very short amount of time.
1. You can see the cop trying to appease the dog for a moment before firing. A common misconception is that reaching out your hand can be seen as a threatening gesture, inviting a bite in response. Police should be trained to know this.
2. You regardless have a burden to keep your dog in control. You can't count on the cop to read the room correctly or, to have the self-awareness to realize how threatening he appears walking up like that.
Casually having your dog off leash is a problem unless you are certain of your dog's temperament and have a rock-solid recall command. Your recall means jack shit if it's not tested in a stressful scenario.
I was not comfortable letting my dog off-leash until I successfully got him to abort a rabbit chase mid-stream. Even so, there's always the possibility, that 1-in-100 time when he doesn't listen. So, I have a remote control and vibrating collar to get his attention just in case.
It's not the dogs fault at all. If it were up to me, you're both at fault, excessive force on the cop's part and negligence on your part.
Unbelievable satellite imagery of a massive dust storm (haboob) roaring across New Mexico and northern Mexico.
This dust storm, generated by severe thunderstorms, is over 200 miles in length!
Every so often I think about this photo. It's hard to express the feeling it invokes in me, a longing for a world I knew that I'll probably never see again.
