Then I saw the injured dog beside him.

12-year-old Xavier Taylor from Maple Shade, NJ, remains in extremely critical condition on a ventilator after a heartbreaking freak accident on May 26. ⚾💔

While warming up before a youth baseball game at Fellowship Columbia Bank Field, Xavier — a passionate pitcher/shortstop who lives for the game — was walking back to the dugout when an errant throw from a teammate struck him in the neck. He collapsed and went into cardiac arrest. His dad (a retired firefighter) rushed to him, and Xavier was airlifted to Cooper University Hospital.

A terrifying scene in Russia was caught on camera after a man allegedly carried a 5 year old girl into a building while her young brother tried to stop him.

The suspect was identified in reports as Alexei Novak, 44, from Tyumen, Russia.

According to reports, Novak allegedly grabbed the child and carried her toward a building. Her brother tried to hold onto her legs and the door, desperately trying to stop him from taking her inside.

A nearby woman, identified in reports as Yulia A., heard the commotion and stepped in.

She confronted Novak, shouted at him, and managed to get the little girl away from him before the situation could go further.

Yulia reportedly also took a photo of the suspect, which helped police identify and arrest him.

Novak was later detained and accused of violent acts against a minor. The case spread widely because the footage showed how quickly the situation unfolded and how the child’s brother and a stranger’s intervention may have saved her.
