I think if more people took the time to understand the differences in responsibilities for Federal vs Provincial gov’ts, they wouldn’t be crying about a 4th Liberal term
@wishescametrue Daylight “I've been sleeping so long in a 20-year dark night and now I see daylight” into You’re losing me “Remember lookin' at this room, we loved it 'cause of the light. Now, I just sit in the dark and wonder if it's time” 🥲
If teachers and school staff only did what they are contracted to do and ONLY worked the hours that they are paid to work— every school would have to shut down because it wouldn’t be able to function.
Reminder: Ontario teachers have been at school, working on an expired contract since August 31st, without taking any form of job action, while MoE @Sflecce drags his heels. So who is not acting in "good faith"? This would never never happen in the "real world". #OntEd#onpoli
every time I leave the house I have to get myself a little treat. it’s not like, financially responsible but what do you want me to do, NOT leave the house ever??
Who do you think works harder?
A) Doug Ford, who rarely shows up and earns well over 6 figures
B) CUPE workers who take care of kids in kindergarten & those w/ special needs, but earn barely over minimum wage
Hey Doug, did you know that 16 out of 30 kids in my daughter’s class are home sick?
FYI: That never happened at any point in the pandemic when there were mask mandates
Let’s be honest, you don’t actually care about kids being in school, do you?
This government shut down schools for 27 weeks. The WORST record in the country and one of the worst records in the world.
Don't them fool you when they tell you they care about our children. If they cared, they'd pay our children's educators their fair wages.

BREAKING: The Ont. government’s Bill 28 legislation -which will impose a 4-year contract on 55,000 CUPE education workers -has passed. The Canadian Civil Liberties Association reacts with a statement: “What happened today at Queen’s Park is horrifying.” #onpoli#onted#cdnpoli
If this were about keeping kids in class and nothing more, the government would agree to binding arbitration.
It's not.
It's about crushing a union to send a message.
As you hear about CUPE strike action, never forget that @Sflecce took $465 million out of the education budget to pay parents, when $235 million would have avoided a strike.

@Lynx_Air Would have loved to celebrate Canada day on a trip booked with Lynx, but my flight got cancelled less than 12 hours before takeoff and 3 emails have been ignored about the refund I was promised in the cancellation email.
