@lufthansa and @theairhelper please help me settle this 8 months old discussion with Lufthansa:
- flight cancelled, no re-routing, spent extra 800E.
- claim via AirHelp: got COMPENSATION quickly (475E).
- question: Am I still eligible for a ticket refund? Lufthansa denies it.
@lufthansa@theairhelper I was trying to settle a debate regarding my legal rights for a ticket refund on a canceled flight. Customer support replied to me 3 times in 8 months. That's how long it takes to get info out of them. Worst experience so far with any company.

@lufthansa It is about the refund for the tickets and an extra claim for the additional expenses I had in order to get back home (no alternatives were offefed by Lufthansa).
@lufthansa Thanks Sina. I talked to a colleague of yours from Service Center. They could not help me as my flight (LH2307 27th July) appears as not cancelled in the system. Will renting a car be covered y the compensation? We are 3 persons desperately needing to get to the destination asap
@lufthansa for the cancelled flights tomorrow in Germany, the chat is not offering any alternatives. The phone option down on both Germany and Netherlands (managed to get in touch with a representative, then the call was ended). What are my options?
