You can access your Trainer Card by pressing the Y button to open the map, then checking your profile. For the Pokédex, press the X button to open the main menu and select it.
As for Ground moves hitting Flying-types, they’re usually immune, but if the Pokémon is affected by Gravity, has used Roost, or is hit by a move or ability that removes its immunity, Ground moves can work. Also, check whether the Pokémon is actually Flying-type or just looks like it can fly!
