The view of the four imams is that ʿAzl (ie: pulling out during intercourse) is permissible with the wife's permission. And Allah knows best.

al-Ḥasan said: “If the worshippers knew in this world that they would not see their Lord, ʿAzza wa-Jall, in the Hereafter, their souls would melt away in this world.”
