@daviddoel Alternate baby doses of Motrin and Tylenol (consult your Dr on dosage), use the NoseFrida snotsucker if you can, monitor that temperature frequently in case it warrants a hospital visit. The worst misery only lasts a day or so usually so hang in there!

@DanRiffle Society's failures became much more visceral and obvious for me after having kids. It was as if all the issues I cared about were suddenly physically present in the form of a completely innocent little package wrapped in a baby blanket. It brought everything into focus

No matter how long the speaker went on - no matter who it was - he was ALWAYS intensely listening. Perhaps that simple but rare trait is at the root of his compassion.
