@ClarkCountySch Also… if it’s not too much trouble, could you please tell me how you plan to pay me without accessing payroll. My landlord wants to know.
@ClarkCountySch Okay… Thank you so much for all your transparency and help in this impossible situation. Those of us who have loyally stayed in the trenches suffering each blow you hand out appreciate your continuous trust in us to keep the dumpster fire at status quo.
Sincerely, Empty Cup
@SylviaLazos Am I the only one watching money bleed from CCSD in ridiculous directions instead of giving teachers a raise? I’m working my ass off, struggling to pay rent. 15 years of devotion. Please tell me how I’m supposed to keep my morale up for my students.
Sincerely, Empty Cup
@kmiller8269 @usedgov@FAFSA I’m in the same boat. This is my 15th year as a Jr High ELA teacher. No masters degree, and still owe 38,800. I’m National Board Certified and all of my service has been in title I schools. I’m working so hard.
@Lead_Flinger @NoLieWithBTC We can’t educate them because they NEED social emotional support. They are coming to class with so much cortisol, it doesn’t matter how great the lesson is. They’re brains are blocked. We need more emotional health support. We need to address the root of the problem.
Republicans are getting very upset people keep retweeting this ad so I figured I would post for any of you who haven’t seen it yet and then I am going to retweet myself tonight.
@Bored_Teachers Our school (Jr. High, Vegas) has 27 open positions. I’m an ELA teacher of 14 years who now teaches a section of Pre-Algebra on my prep. I have done that every day for 12 weeks. I can’t do this until June, but it appears we aren’t even advertising to hire. Is it this way all over?
