8 hour wait for ambulance to take me in, crew very much gave the impression I was wasting their time. Hours in ED and CT scan later and was up on surgical triage. Surgery overnight Monday for ruptured appendix with gangrenous infection. Recovery time now

Interesting week so far. Early Sunday had stomach pains, thought kidney stone again so rested and waited for the pain to move around. Still same location but increasing pain. Sunday evening called 111, explained I couldn’t sit to be driven in car to ED.
