I requested a letter of experience on May 22 and was told it would take “up to“ 14 days. It’s been nearly a month and whenever I call they just say “any day now.” What gives? If I don’t get it this week it will cost me hundreds
The best way to understand somewhere is firsthand. I went to Israel.
This is the first of a few threads. Everything I post is from primary sources and independently verified wherever possible. All photos & videos my own.

Warning: violence.

‘I am thinking about tomorrow,’ said Toad. 'I am thinking about all of the many things that I will have to do.'
’Yes,’ said Frog, ‘tomorrow will be a very hard day for you.’
It is so hard to go to work and do work when the entire world is shattering. How do we do this? How do we go on knowing our “friends” would celebrate our death if the right people killed us? How do we fight the raging hypocrisy that no one seems to even notice?
How is the world not calling for the release of hostages? How can a ceasefire, which was in place until Oct 6, do anything but allow Hamas to re-arm themselves? How can brutally slaughtering peaceful Jews bring about a free Palestine? How can any of this make sense to you?
An important thing to remember about Hamas is that in addition to being mass murderers, mass abductors, mass torturers, and mass rapists- they are also not reliable sources of information.
The Lead is very sad to report that the Hamas terrorist attack over the weekend reached our work family, killing the cousin of one of our founding producers.
May his memory be a blessing, Alexis. We are so sorry.

Again, adjusted for population, it would be as if 125,000 Americans were injured (on top of the 40,000 murdered), 6,500 Americans were being held hostage, and 15 million Americans called up for reserve duty. The horror and disbelief and grief are very, very real.
This morning’s awful terrorist attacks against Israel, which have claimed over 40 lives and wounded hundreds more, including civilians, are heartbreaking and deeply troubling. I stand with the Israeli people, condemn this violence, and reaffirm Israel’s right to defend itself.
In 2015, @TheRealMisterG said if the lotto gets to $1B it’s worth it, expected value be damned (probably didn’t say it like that), because the teensiest chance of winning A BILLION is worth it over not that chance.
So yes, I have bought lotto ticket every time it’s reached $1B
