@threeinningfan@jaysonst Excellent and interesting discussion especially with regard to the idea of moving the strike zone a bit. Of course if pitchers really wanted to reduce bases-on-balls they could try throwing more strikes.
Mark had wondered if a salary cap in MLB would be worth considering since less experienced players would gain earlier in their careers with a higher minimum salary. But it gives up too much for the players and they ones that make the big bucks should do a better job of taking care of the entry level and non-star players. A short from our podcast this week.
