a fun story about healthcare in this province:

my 91 year old nan was discharged from the placentia hospital after breaking two ribs and being at risk for pneumonia because they had “lots of beds but no staff”.

not to mention the doctor gave no pain medication because my stubborn, medicated nan was like “i’m good” at the time. that may be my nan’s fault idk, but i don’t know why they didn’t give a prescription just in case. of course she’s gonna say she’s good. you gave her morphine.
