Partial Resumption of Air Navigation in the State of Qatar

Doha, 6 March 2026

Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) announces the partial resumption of air navigation in the State of Qatar, through designated navigational contingency routes with limited operational capacity, in full coordination with the Qatari Armed Forces and the relevant authorities in the State.
This phase includes the operation of a limited number of flights designated for passenger evacuation, in addition to the operation of air cargo flights, in light of the current circumstances in the region, and in a manner that ensures the continued provision of essential air services.
QCAA affirms that it continues to operate at the highest level of operational readiness, in close coordination with the competent authorities in the State, in order to ensure the safety and security of passengers and personnel in the civil aviation sector, and to maintain the safe and efficient flow of air navigation in accordance with the highest international standards.
The Authority is also continuously monitoring developments and will keep the public and aviation sector partners informed of any updates in due course.
The Authority notes the importance for passengers who have confirmed bookings with airlines to follow the latest updates regarding their flights. It also emphasizes that the flights mentioned do not include scheduled flights to and from Doha, which will resume once an official announcement is issued by Qatar Civil Aviation Authority regarding the safe reopening of the airspace.

استئناف جزئي لحركة الملاحة الجوية في دولة قطر

تعلن الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني عن استئناف جزئي لحركة الملاحة الجوية في دولة قطر، عبر مسارات جوية مخصصة للطوارئ وبطاقة استيعابية محدودة، وذلك بالتنسيق الكامل مع القوات المسلحة القطرية والجهات المعنية في الدولة.
وتشمل هذه المرحلة تشغيل عدد محدود من الرحلات الجوية المخصصة لإجلاء المسافرين، إلى جانب تسيير رحلات الشحن الجوي، وذلك في ضوء الظروف الراهنة التي تشهدها المنطقة، وبما يضمن استمرار تقديم الخدمات الجوية الضرورية.
وتؤكد الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني أنها تواصل العمل بأقصى درجات الجاهزية التشغيلية، وبالتنسيق المستمر مع مختلف الجهات المختصة في الدولة، من أجل ضمان سلامة وأمن المسافرين والعاملين في قطاع الطيران المدني، والحفاظ على انسيابية حركة الملاحة الجوية وفق أعلى المعايير الدولية.
كما تتابع الهيئة تطورات الأوضاع بشكل مستمر، وستقوم بإطلاع الجمهور وشركاء قطاع الطيران على أي مستجدات في حينها.
وتنوه الهيئة إلى أهمية قيام المسافرين الذين لديهم حجوزات مؤكدة مع شركات الطيران بمتابعة أحدث المعلومات المتعلقة برحلاتهم، مع التأكيد على أن الرحلات المشار إليها لا تشمل الرحلات المجدولة من وإلى الدوحة، وستستأنف فور صدور إعلان رسمي من الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني بشأن إعادة فتح المجال الجوي بصورة آمنة.

القطرية تحلق بأول طائرة B777 في العالم مزودة بالإنترنت من Starlink..

بشكل رسمي، دشنت الخطوط القطرية قبل قليل خدمة الإنترنت الجديدة من Starlink على متن أسطولها، لتصبح بذلك أول شركة خليجية تتبنى هذه التقنية.

الطائرة الأولى التي تم تركيب أنظمة Starlink عليها هي طائرة من طراز B777-300ER وتحمل التسجيل A7-BEV، وهي أول طائرة B777 في العالم يتم تزويدها بهذه التقنية.

الطائرة أقلعت برحلتها التي وصفت بالتاريخية قبل أقل من ساعتين، وهي في طريقها إلى مطار هيثرو في لندن.

القطرية أكدت أن هذه الخدمة سيتم تقديمها بشكل مجاني لجميع الركاب، وبسرعات تصل إلى 500 ميجابت/ ثانية.
