- قرأت ذات مرة قصة حول ثلاثة أشقاء قذفهم الموج على جزيرة هاواي. إنها أسطورة. أسطورة قديمة. قرأتها عندما كنت طفلا، لذا من المرجح أنني لا أتذكرها بالضبط، ولكنها تسير على هذا المنوال:

ثلاثة أشقاء نزلوا الماء للصيد ثم علقوا في عاصفة. انجرف مركبهم وسط المحيط لمدة طويلة حتى قذفهم الموج على شاطئ جزيرة غير مأهولة، كانت جزيرة جميلة وتنمو عليها أشجار جوز الهند، وتنوء أشجارها بالفاكهة، ويتوسط كل ذلك جبل مرتفع وضخم.

في الليلة التي وصلوا فيها هناك، تراءى ملاك في أحلامهم وقال:

"سوف تجدون بعد مسافة قليلة من هذا الشاطئ ثلاثة صخور مستديرة وكبيرة. أريد من كل منكم أن يدفع صخرته
لأبعد مسافة يستطيعها حيثما تتوقفون عن دفع الصخرة سيكون هو المكان الذي ستعيشون فيه. كلما ارتفعت لأعلى، سوف يمكنك من خلال بيتك رؤية المزيد من العالم. الأمر كله يعود إليكم فيما يخص المدى الذي تريدون أن تدفعوا صخرتكم إليه."..

وجد الأشقاء صخورا ثلاث على الشاطى تماما كما أخبرهم الملاك. وقد بدأوا يدفعونها كما أمرهم. ولأن هذه الصخور كانت ضخمة وثقيلة، فقد كانت دحرجتها أمرا صعبا، وكان دفعها إلى أعلى منحدر يستلزم جهدا هائلا. توقف الشقيق الأصغر أولا وقال:

"إخواني هذا المكان يكفيني. إنه قريب من الشاطئ. ويمكنني أن أصطاد سمكا منه. وفيه كل ما أحتاجه لمواصلة العيش هنا. لا يهمني إن كنت لا أستطيع رؤية الكثير من العالم من هنا".

واصل شقيقاه الآخران الصعود، لكنهما وبينما كانا في وسط المسافة نحو أعلى الجبل، إذا بالشقيق الثاني يتوقف. ويقول: "أخي، هذا المكان يكفيني. يوجد كثير من الفاكهة هنا، وفيه كل ما أحتاجه لمواصلة العيش. لا يهمني إن كنت لا أرى الكثير من العالم من هنا".

أما الشقيق الأكبر فقد تابع صعود الجبل. أصبح ممر الصعود يزداد ضيقا وحٍدّة في انحداره، ولكنه لم يتوقف. كانت لديه قدرة هائلة على المثابرة، وكان يريد أن يرى أكبر قدر من العالم، لذا ظل يدفع الصخرة لأعلى قمة بكل ما أوتي من قوة، ظل على ذلك شهورا، بالكاد كان يأكل أو يشرب، حتى دفع الصخرة إلى أعلى قمة الجبل. وهناك توقف ونظر إلى العالم. الآن يمكنه أن يرى من العالم أكثر من أي شخص آخر. هذا هو المكان الذي سيعيش فيه- حيث لم تكن الحشائش تنمو، وحيث لم تكن الطيور تطير. وللحصول على الماء، كان عليه أن يلعق الثلوج والصقيع. وللحصول على الطعام، لم يكن أمامه إلا أن يأكل الطحالب. ولكن الندم لم يتسرب إليه، لأنه أصبح الآن يطل على العالم كله. ولذلك، وحتى اليوم، ما زالت صخرته الضخمة المستديرة موجودة فوق قمة ذلك الجبل في إحدى جزر هاواي. هكذا تقول القصة ."

❗️🚨 An Israeli company has backdoored hundreds of millions of households through countless Smart TV apps, and they're quietly turning Samsung and LG TVs into exit nodes for AI web-scraping. Your TV is relaying strangers' web traffic from your home IP, your bandwidth, your address attached to whatever those scraping jobs touch.

Roku, Fire TV and Google TV banned the practice. Samsung and LG didn't. The culprit is Bright Data's proxy SDK, which rides inside Tizen and webOS apps, 200+ on webOS alone. Datacenter IPs get blocked, home IPs don't.

Include Security reverse-engineered the SDK and found its relay protocol has no message signing, authentication, or device attestation. Their words: less secure than typical malware command-and-control.

To make things worse, they found that in iOS the relay tunnel binds straight to the physical network interface, so it routes around any VPN the user is running.

Bright Data's config also ships per-country tiers. Devices in Uzbekistan and Oman are cleared to relay down to 1% battery, with data caps up to 60x the worldwide default.

Before the BaCkDoOrEd replies land: technically you agreed. In practice you were enrolled into a global proxy network you were never given the information to refuse. And these exit nodes drag down your IP's reputation, potentially leaving you with blocks from providers.

To understand why Oman has been targeted by this delusion, one must return to the nature of the Omani position within its regional context. Since the Abraham Accords were promoted as a strategic achievement that would bring peace by circumventing the core of the Palestinian issue, Muscat has taken a stance contrary to that of some who rushed to normalize relations with Israel. Its response was clear: a political rejection expressed by the Omani Foreign Minister, His Excellency Sayyid Badr Al Busaidi, who stated that his country would not join these agreements and would not be part of the so-called Peace Council. More recently, it appears that Oman has also rejected Trump's demands.

This rejection is based on a fundamental principle: that there can be no true peace without justice, and that attempting to legitimize the occupation through economic and security normalization does not build a lasting peace, but rather postpones the inevitable explosion.

The second issue that made Oman resistant to "compliance" is its position during the war on Iran. At a time when the American administration was waging war on Iran, supported by a Gulf state, Omani diplomacy clearly stated its position: the war on Iran was a major strategic mistake. Muscat did not merely warn of the catastrophic repercussions of a regional war on security and the economy; it also played a practical role in calming tensions and containing the escalation. This stance was a choice of reason in the face of the axis's policy, which seeks to drag the region into the abyss. In the logic of the groups that gambled on war to redraw the map of influence, Oman became an adversary because it pursues a policy of reason and because it refuses to be merely a logistical platform or political cover.

In a deeper political analysis, Trump's threat to Oman cannot be understood in isolation from the regional dimension that fueled it and brought it to the forefront. What the American president said was the culmination of continuous Emirati pressure exerted by Abu Dhabi on decision-makers in Washington, leveraging its close ties with the American administration and its extensive influence within decision-making centers there. The Emirati directive was an extension of a political vendetta against the Sultanate of Oman, which refused to be a pliant tool conforming to Emirati positions.

This vendetta has its roots in two crucial issues: First, Oman's clear and unequivocal stance during the recent war with Iran. Muscat not only declared its rejection of the war and described it as a catastrophic mistake, but also pursued an active diplomacy of de-escalation that thwarted the Emirati gamble on fueling and expanding the conflict. Second, Oman's fundamental opposition to Emirati policy in the region—a policy based on building military axes, settling disputes by force, and undermining the concept of the nation-state in favor of transnational alliances. In both instances, Oman represented a model of resistance to dictates, clinging to dialogue and balance, which made it the target of a twofold punishment: American in form, and Emirati in essence and motivation.

Ultimately, what Oman is experiencing is a threat to the very idea of ​​an independent state that does not conduct its foreign policy according to the instructions of embassies. But the problem isn't with Oman. A nation that withstood the mightiest empires in history won't be broken by reckless pronouncements. The problem lies with those who chose to be a submissive "other party," and with those who sought foreign support and influence against their own people.
