@yudhanjaya I’d probably try a concrete structure and rammed earth walls when I build something. You’re absolutely right about architects and structural engineers not wanting to try. Ideally some org like NBRO should do research on this.
@yudhanjaya I was excited when you wanted to experiment with earth bags. I’ve always wanted to build with rammed earth and yours was the closest I’ve seen in Sri Lanka. I’ve seen quite a few rammed earth buildings in India, Kerala mostly, and also in Nepal.
@victorcardenas@base Hey Victor, much needed service for quite a lot of countries. Unfortunately Persona phone number isn’t working- at least for me - in Sri Lanka. Would be mighty grateful if you can have someone look at it.
The worst part of the startup world?
Wrong people leading the ecosystem.
People who’ve never built, advising those who are building.
No skin in the game. Just buzzwords and panels.
Founders deserve better.
Are we listening to the right voices?

@isurusiri@chamara You should try it. It has lowered my opex and capex by a massive margin. Don’t consider AI as a silver bullet. But in many use cases, it just works and have heavily reduced my talent reliance.
@isurusiri@chamara In this day and age, if you have all this, why would you raise money at all? Pay $20 to Cursor, use an LLM on API if needed and do it yourself. Getting to revenue on your own terms is a better option than waiting for an investor to make their mind. 🤷🏽♂️
@std_err I’ve been looking for something like this. Let me try it and get back to you with some feedback. Should I use a lightweight LLM like in LM Studio as the base or can I straightaway use an OpenAI key or any other key?
