A city is judged not just by its roads, but by how safely its people can walk.
Over the last 9 days, we have restored more than 400 km of footpaths across Bengaluru, reclaiming public spaces for pedestrians and making our city safer and more accessible.
Our Government is committed to a humane and balanced Footpath Policy - one that safeguards the livelihoods of street vendors through planned vending zones while ensuring that footpaths remain free, safe and accessible for every citizen.
Today, I will be inspecting several locations across Bengaluru to review the progress on the ground.
A walkable Bengaluru is a more livable Bengaluru.

Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday took to Twitter to target the Union government over reports that surplus rice stocks would be used to make ethanol for hand sanitisers.

The egg is 75% water and the chana is nearly fully dry, so you are really comparing 13g of dry egg matter with about 47g of dry chana.
This is also why the egg is 70 kcal and the chana is closer to 300 kcal for the same serving.
And on top of that, protein quality of egg is much better. To be clear, eat both, and if one has personal religious reasons to avoid eggs, do that, but this comparison is silly.
That was the day America must've realised that as long as Congress is in power, India could become a superpower. Out of this fear, America created the fraudulent IAC movement and right behind all this, CIA affiliated PR company was improving Modi's image.

Sir, please visit Vijaya Bank Layout, Bilekahalli. Roads that were perfectly usable have been dug up for utility work and left unrestored. In rains, residents wade through mud; during dry its all dust.
Infrastructure work should improve lives, not otherwise.
@comm_blr_south Sir, please visit Vijaya Bank Layout, Bilekahalli once. In the name of pipeline work, good roads have been dug up and left unrepaired.
During rains it's a sea of mud; in dry days it's a cloud of dust.
Residents deserve better. Pls intervene.

@SandeepParekh Every issue somehow ends up becoming an opportunity for Mr. Sandeep to deliver another economics masterclass.
Looking at the reported scale of his own business, the confidence is certainly impressive. 😄
Engagement farming is too lucrative.
Happy weekend, Sandeep.
>₹36,000 crore Ganga Expressway.
>594 km of “development.”
>₹1,800 toll for one car from Meerut to Prayagraj.
>Big contractors. Big PR. Big inauguration politics.
And now a man is allegedly peeling off the road surface with his bare hands to show the quality of the asphalt.
This is the real model:
>Taxpayer pays for the project.
>Citizen pays toll to use it.
>Contractor earns.
>Government takes credit.
And when the road starts cracking, the person exposing it may get an FIR before the contractor gets a notice.
If a ₹36,000 crore expressway cannot survive basic public scrutiny, then the problem is not just bad asphalt, it is bad accountability.
In this country, roads break, bridges fall, drains collapse, tanks burst but the first action is often against the person recording the failure.
The road is not weak by accident. The system is weak by design. 🙏
🔥 We took the bullets. They hired the lawyers.
The Govt just spent ₹244 CRORE in legal fees to fight its own soldiers in court.
The goal?
To stop them from getting benefits worth just ₹109 CRORE.
They literally paid lawyers 2.2x MORE, just to deny justice to our troops.
Taxpayer money burned.
Heroes harassed.
Bureaucracy 1, Logic 0.
@SandeepMall Personal exp:
It’s about the everyday experience — dust , infra.., constant honking, barely any trees, parks or public libraries.
honestly, when living feels this exhausting, it also impacts bigger social trends — even people hesitating to raise children in such conditions
