Today is National Sorry Day, commemorating the ongoing pain of the Stolen Generations.
Saying sorry is important, but we match our words with deeds. Today is also 6 yrs since the Uluru Statement from the Heart called for constitutional recognition + a Voice. Let’s get this done.
Today, we acknowledge the pain inflicted on the Stolen Generation and the strength of survivors.
As we continue on our reconciliation journey, and mark the 6th anniversary of the @ulurustatement, the Albanese Government recommits to its full implementation. Voice, Treaty, Truth.
