Simple examples are:
* Someone calls you pretending to be from your bank and asks for your BVN or ATM pin.
* You get a message:"your account will be blocked -click this link now"
* An email that looks like it's from a real company but it's fake
Social Engineering is a cyber security means of tricking people (not hacking computers) to get secret information.
Instead of breaking into your phone or bank system, the attacker lies, pretends or manipulates you so you can give them what they want yourself.
